We call it “What She Doesn’t Want to Hear (When She’s Not Expecting)” and we’ve heard many phrases from our community. Though usually well meaning and trying to lighten the mood, these phrases often cut deeply. We think we’ve heard it all, but then every week our community shows us something new! You can have my kids. I'll just make more.
Not everyone is meant to be a mother
Everything happens for a reason.
It only took me a month.
You don't know how lucky you are! Kids are a handful.
What a shame... You're a woman, but you can't have children.
You waited too long. That's why.
Really? My kids were accidents.
I know just how you feel! I have been trying for 2 months...
Maybe that's the way it's supposed to be.
