Why Become an Egg Donor
Donating your eggs is one of the most personal, generous, and meaningful gifts you can give. Egg donation gives the genuine feeling of satisfaction for helping another human being become a parent. Many women who choose this path do so to ease the struggle for those who cannot conceive without assistance. For most women, the feeling of fulfillment they receive from helping an infertile couple achieve their dream of parenthood is absolutely priceless.
The decision to become a donor should be made with great care. Our experts can help guide you through your decision making process. It may also help to hear from other families who’ve been through the experience.
I LOVED working with this clinic. They are considerate, competent, and efficient. They respond to changes well and are very adaptive to requests. I have donated multiple times and this was my favorite clinic by FAR to work with.

The Donation Process
Egg donation is a low-risk procedure. The cycle, from your start date to egg retrieval, takes an average of two to three months to complete. You will need to take a daily injectable fertility medication for about 10 to 14 days to help your body in developing and growing eggs for the egg retrieval. During this time, you will complete roughly six to nine quick blood/ultrasound monitoring appointments in the mornings to monitor your progress.
The egg retrieval itself takes approximately 20 minutes. Egg donors are sedated throughout the procedure. After completing the egg retrieval, you will need to rest for the remainder of the day. Afterward, you may also experience short-term fatigue, nausea, vomiting, or sleepiness. We require that a friend or family member pick you up following this procedure and recommend 24 hours of rest.
