FCI conducts ground-breaking research that has contributed to improvements in assisted reproductive technologies and fertility treatment. Patients at FCI benefit from working with the experts who conducted these studies; when appropriate, patients are invited to participate in research studies as well. IVF/PGS Research StudyIVF/PGS research study for Women with Advanced Reproductive Age Sue Jasulaitis, RN, MS Sue Jasulaitis is a seasoned professional in the field of reproductive medicine and currently works as FCI's Clinical Research Coordinator. She has been employed by Fertility Centers of Illinois since 1998. With over fifteen years of experience, she has a diverse background in surgical nursing, clinical research, and nursing management. She received a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Nursing Management and a Bachelors of Science (BS) in Nursing/Psychology from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Sue was recognized by the International Council on Infertility Information Dissemination (INCIID) for her outstanding efforts in the field of reproductive endocrinology and patient care. She is a consultant for Serono, Organon and Ferring Pharmaceutical companies as well as private consulting firms. She frequently lectures on topics involving reproductive nursing and often conducts national nursing educational seminars for reproductive medicine throughout the country. Angeline N. Beltsos, MD Dr. Beltsos is the Medical Director of Clinical Research as well the Medical Director of IVF Chicago - River North Program and one of the managing partners of FCI. She is double board-certified in OB/GYN and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). She completed her residency in OB/GYN at Loyola University, followed by a fellowship in REI at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is Clinical Assistant Professor and Educational REI Division Director for the OB/GYN residency programs of Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Lutheran General Hospital, and St. Joseph's Hospital Chicago. Dr. Beltsos is the FCI Clinical Research Divisional Director and participates in a number of research projects and scientific publications. She has received numerous awards in teaching and has been honored as ‘top doctor' from Castle Connelly for several years. She speaks nationally and locally on many topics of REI and is chairperson of the Midwest Reproductive Symposium. |
