January 1 - December 31, 2008

At FCI, our labs are two of the largest most experienced IVF laboratories in the Midwest, working exclusively with FCI physicians.

Our Chicago/River North and Highland Park IVF laboratories report their results separately to SART and the CDC.  These are the specific results for our Highland Park Lab.

The lab used is determined by which physician you chose, which office you chose and what individual treatment plan is recommend for you by your FCI physician.

Success rates vary from center to center for several reasons:

  • First, each center employs different patient selection criteria, different Stimulation protocols and different laboratory procedures.
  • Secondly, each patients medical characteristics and treatment plan may vary from clinic to clinic.
  • Third, the laboratory's inherent skill in achieving pregnancy can differ.

For these reasons you need to look beyond the reported IVF success rates. Your individual prognosis may be better or worse depending on your diagnosis and treatment history.

You should ask your physician for an approximation of your success rate based on all these factors. This can help you make better decisions regarding your family building options.
